What we do
Upon acceptance of our estimate and booking of an appointment, PAT-iT will issue a relevant risk assessment (upon request) to the Health & Safety representative or appointed person of the business. We will then liaise with them to establish if there are any hazards that should be made aware to PAT-iT. We will ask permission to power down equipment such as computers, machinery in operation etc. We would also enquire if any equipment had intermittent faults. After ascertaining which areas you wish us to commence, we then start our inspection and testing of your equipment. After each inspection and test, an identification label with an asset number is attached to the equipment giving quick reference for repeat tests. Upon completion you will be asked to sign to accept the amount of items tested, any equipment that has failed would be brought to your attention for immediate action. Upon payment you will then receive all certificates in Pdf format (unless requested otherwise) a full list of assets tested and a copy of an assessment & observations report. 4 weeks prior to your asset test expiry date, a reminder email will be sent to you. PAT-iT offers a congruent service to every customer from start to finish.
